Course overview

In today’s fast changing world coaching to help people perform, learn, and develop has never been more important and is a key role of the modern leader.

Developing your leadership style using coaching techniques and approaches is crucial if you are to improve your ability to motivate and support others to improve their performance.

Few leaders coach with the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development reporting that only around a quarter of employees experience being coached by their leader at work with only around half of senior executives buying-into into the value that their manager’s coaching activities could have on performance, results, and workforce engagement.

A coaching style of leadership is about learning not to lead in the traditional sense but more to facilitate others to come up with their own solutions. It requires personal development and change from the leader with the aim of this short development being to provide key learning and support through the following content:

Delivery

The program will be delivered through three webinars accompanied by a manual/workbook and with one webinar being an open forum for participants to share questions and experiences. Support for participants will be available for a three-month period by email.
